Having spent nearly a year with the iPad Air M1 and Magic Keyboard, I can legitimately say it handles nearly all my computing needs. I think where I am not comfortable yet is leveraging Photoshop and other creative tools with it. I am getting more fluent with Photoshop though I still prefer the desktop experience. I have used my iPad Air M1 in all aspects from scripting in Python for work, a pretty good PuTTY client, manage networks, some WordPress development, manage CRM’s, do some prototyping in Figma and XD, and even simple tasks as serving the content and reading from Apple News and Books.

It is because of stage manager and external monitor support. It is life changing using it with an external monitor.
