cant wait to tell my mom that twisting her hair and clipping it is now trendy after wearing her hair like that after 20+ years 😂💕

The dryer sheet is meant to help static, not frizz. If your hair doesn’t have excess static electricity in it, the dryer sheet isn’t going to do anything. I know it’s a cardinal sin for curly girls, but if you try brushing out your curls with an actually brush (not a comb), it will probably work, since brushes tend to build up static electricity in the hair!

I think using a fishnet with smaller holes in a smaller size will work a lot better for you. Those braids have been my go to hack for 25 years LOL

Not me, age 28 not ever realising that claw clips ever went out of style? They’re just a hair clip 😂😂😂

The “claw clip hack”, is basically late 90s early 2000s. It was definitely my go to for a couple of years.

I'm going to try and explain why the clip is not staying put. You can't just clip the twist head-on. You have to come in from the side. So if you're holding your hair with your right hand with the clip in your left, open the clip, put the left side claws against your scalp little to the left of the twist, then drag them over towards the twist and clip it down. That way you're clipping where the twist meets your head.

Homie I would literally use a dryer sheet on my hair every time I straightened it in high school. It's not for frizz, it's for static. Works good for people in super dry climate

A hair brush that gives those kinds of curls? Miraculous!!

my new to-do list:
- buy denman brush
- watch every video on how to use it
- cry if it doesn't work

Another „hack“: Just put a hairtie on your keychain. You may be switching bags, or not bringing one at all, but the times you don‘t have your keys with you are veeeery rare 😉

I bought a denman brush because I hate not having a clean brush and you can take all of the bristles out to remove debris and hair! It's amazing!

Sierra needs a whole separate channel for hack testing 😂

Sierra you just boost my self confidence, I'm 17 and I had been shaving my entire body for a year before the pandemic but at 12:40 where your armpits weren't shaved, I didn't really think a youtuber would be so carefree about it especially after that video you made a while ago about not shaving for a month, I want to say a huge thank you for being so raw and awesome about something as natural as body hair, lots of love <3

The first hack is literally the hair nets women used to use in the mid 1900’s but harder

The “claw clip twist” was around in the 90’s. I wore my hair like that in high school. It’s easier to form a low ponytail twist a couple times and claw it up!

I totally remember Blair Fowler doing the boho braid hack on her channel ages and ages ago. I’m old 🙃

I would also recommend that you brush your hair up with the denman brush, not down. If you brush it up or at a 90 degree angle, the curls will be a lot more defined than they even already are. Brushing the hair down can loosen the curls and you won’t get as much definition. But I swear by the denman brush, as well as finger coiling.

i have short hair and when i put it into the clip i dont pull it through, just just normally twist the hair at the base and clip it, and then leave the rest of my hair hanging over it like a ponytail
