World of Tanks - Ghost Shell No Hit Detection

This happened this morning when I was playing in my BDR. Complete ghost shell/no hit detection. I though for sure I was going to destroy the Comet but I guess I'm wrong. My ping was low at the time and I do have the server reticle enabled in game. This should not have happened.
