Great to see you begin harvest, not all people realise that farming is a gamble most of the time. Each farmer put a whole lot of money, time & effort into their farm & are hoping to make enough profit to pay the bills & keep their families fed, clothed & sheltered, just like everyone else. Here's hoping for a bountiful harvest to make up for the last few years. 😀

On the combine talk, any second hand something is needing maintenance. People that want to sell don't do maintenance because it doesn't affect them and doesn't add much value. Only easy stuff is done or fixed up just enough to be working for sale purposes.
So you always should do a good check after buying to catch those problems and fix em before they become big. Or sell it quickly, because you can also make it someone elses problem.

Man seeing that year after year you guys dealing with drought. We got some beautiful crops in Saskatchewan but we are in desperate need for one more rain to help things fill but the damage might be done. Peas are waist high. Canola, wheat, barley are chest high in areas
