just shows who I am subscribed to but not showing who is subscribed to me. the youtube set up stinks! used to you could find everyone. when google took over it became a cluttered mess of controls. I have new subscribers that come and go and I want to know who!

I remember back in 2009, when YT had colored channels with HTML tags or something, everyone was able to see what profiles were subscribed to someone's channel. Today YT says you cannot see who subscribed to you if they keep subscriptions private or if they are suspended spam accounts but paradoxically these possible spam subscriptions still stay there. I understand privacy reasons, however I recently got one subscriber who is also on my Steam contacts and I cannot see his subscription despite he says his profile is public. I'll tell him to change the setting you showed at 0:30 on this video (I can't link it to him because he doesn't speak english). Thank you.
