I totally get what you were saying about how characters have the tendency to feel real. It's not weird at all. There are just some authors who write about amazing characters who leave an impact on you. It's a pretty spectacular gift those authors are blessed with!

Welp. *runs to cancel my hold on A Thousand Heartbeats at my library* thanks for your honesty about that book! All I had ever seen was people saying it was "so good". Even after hearing your thoughts I was still gonna give it a chance, but then you mentioned gay characters in future books by that author, and nope. I don't see why I should even read an author who would be okay with writing that kind of thing in their books.

I am turning 24 this year as well!! Idk why, but it's always so encouraging for me to realize that there are other 24-year-old Christian girls still living with their parents. Makes me not feel like such a failure ❤
