DJI Naza M V2 - Unboxing & Configuration Overview

The Naza-M V2 is a powerful flight controller for enthusiasts, commercial and industrial flyers. It’s easy to install, simple to configure, and above all, extremely stable. Nine types of traditional
motor mixes are supported, making it ideal for every setup.

The DJI Naza M V2 is a proline product from DJI Innovations. DJI Innovations, known as Da Jiang Innovations, is a Chinese Technology Company located in Shenzhen, China. DJI Innovations are the leaders in Commercial Drone Technologies and Researches.

Naza M V2 or Naza Multi-Rotor V2 is the latest flight controller in the market from DJI Innovations in the commercial drone build category and it is one of the most advanced flight controllers in the market as well.

In this video, we have unboxed the DJI Naza M V2 Flight Controller Box. We had the box with GPS Combo Package. From the first look of the box to the last step of the unboxing, we can clearly see the quality of the product and the effort that had been put together into the packaging.

The box consists of the following components:
1. Naza M V2 Flight Controller Board or Naza Multi-Rotor V2 Flight Controller Board
2. GPS Module with GPS Stand
3. Power Management Unit (PMU)
4. LED Unit
5. DJI branded Micro-USB Cable
6. Connecting Wires
7. Some Double-Sided Tapes & Silica Gel

The Naza M V2 Board supports up to 8 motors, which makes it eligible for the Octacopter build as well. We have to say, this Flight Controller board nails all of the features that it has.

The GPS module which comes as an optional combo package is very accurate and precise. In comparison with the closest rival in its category, the PixHawk Flight Controller Board, it's GPS positioning and accuracy as well as the Return to Home feature is the best. This is particularly when judging between the PixHawk vs Naza M V2 in the GPS section.

The Power Management Unit commonly known as PMU sends the power to the Flight Controller Board as well as receives the signal from the GPS and forwards it to the Flight Controller Board. It supports Li-Po batteries from 2 Cell to 6 Cell. Also, it tells the flight controller about the battery that is left in the cell itself.

The LED Unit symbolically tells us about the current status of the Flight Controller board or the Drone as well. The LED is really bright and beautiful to look at, especially at night. It also acts as a bridge between the Flight Controller Board and the Computer for Programming and Calibrations.

Talking about the PixHawk vs Naza M V2 question, I would say, Naza M V2 is the clear winner from the User Friendly and Ease of Use perspective. As well as, you get 24/7 Live Chat support from the DJI officials to help you with your project. In the other sections, both have some advantages and disadvantages, which I will cover in a future video.
