History lovers! It's time to continue our quest.

Phew, it's been a minute sincewe caught up with out wayward Poets. Last time we saw Dante and Virgil, they arrived in Purgatory and followed through to the excommunicated (passing by Manfred along the way). In todays video, we'll be continuing into the paths of the Indolent and Unshriven... and maybe making a new friend along the way.

Let's climb a mountain.

P.S. Remember to tell us what you think in the comments!

For us Italians Dante's speech about Italy in the sixth canto of purgatory is very important and is taught at school from childhood.
Is considered the first example of Italian patriotism, in fact Dante is one of the first Italian authors to visualize the Italian peninsula as a united territory without political differences and inhabited by the same people (the modern concept of "Italian people" historically originated after the year 1000 AD)

with whom I would've liked your audience to become I'm kind of a Dante buff and your account of Purgatory was incredibly faithful to Dante proper, (lol) you've accomplished something

Okay, I’m sure someone else has already mentioned this, but...the pronunciation is “sɛz” and not “sāyz” (see the IPA guide).
