Chalk Paint Furniture Makeover | Blending Technique | Shading | Whitewash

Welcome to Flip It Furniture! In today’s video we take an outdated 9 drawer French Provincial dresser and update it using mostly Dixie Belle Paint Company Chalk Mineral Paint. I’m going to use a blending technique on the base using a light blue color and dark blue. Then finish off the look with a whitewash!

This is probably the most beautiful flip I have ever seen. I have a dining room table and hutch that I'm thinking about doing like this. Some of the nicest shading I’ve ever seen. And thank you for painting the inside frame of the drawers. I never understand why someone does all the work to restore furniture and they missed the details. Looks very nice

I have this whole bedroom set in the French white which has yellowed with age. I love mine but I really love what you did. My set was made in the 1960s or before. Very good workmanship.

That's beautiful. The blending technique makes the drawer fronts almost look beveled! And the top paint job makes it look like natural white-washed wood!
