Well, the title says it all I guess. I hope you enjoy this rockin' medley!

If you'd like to buy a copy of my new chord songbook '50 from the Fifties', which contains 50 classic rock 'n' roll and rockabilly songs that can be played with just 4 easy open chords, then search for 'Jez Quayle' and 'Rock and Roll' on Amazon. Unfortunately, I can't provide a single Amazon link that will work all around the world.

If you live in the UK follow this Amazon link:

If you live in the USA follow this Amazon link:

Great songbook. I feel happy when I try to learn to play the song. I am 75 year but then I feel 20 again.

Wow, with a voice like that, and that amazing guitar playing, It's a wonder you were never discovered, we could have got rid of all those other artists, Chuck, Buddy, Elvis, Carl, Bill, etc, we only needed you.

How could anyone not enjoy that. Songs that are instantly recognisable even though most of them are over 60yrs old and it would be great to be able to play them. Perfect campfire songs.
Having said that this guy is a very experienced time served guitar player. It will take longer than you think to get even close to his level of playing despite the fact its a single boom-chuck rhythm and only 3 chords.
But it's something to aim for and that's the attitude I'm taking.

Pretty Good, I've played Guitar at different times, put my mind to working, stayed for about 20 yrs, had an accident and retired at age 62, now I picked up 2 guitars, 1 electric and other Standard, found out I forgot the chords, I know about 4 to 6 cords, I plan to play again, and plan to pick up your Book, Thank You, Samuel

Thanks, that’s how I used to play my ukulele with only 4 chords. And played a lot of songs from the 50’s and 60’s. Now, I can play the guitar with 4 Cords, just like when I was 16 years old. I am now in my 60’s. 🙏🏼

excellent lesson, thanks ... what makes your presentation work is the reverb of your vocals, which is due to how you mic'ed the room. In your intro, I thought, oh, he's got a room echo from the mic being positioned straightup in the centre of the room (or there abouts ...) but when you start to sing, that natural reverb of the room makes the vocals come alive. Very low-tech excellence. Thanks!

Singing lesson from him is what I need. He makes it sound so good and easy because his singing is right on the spot. He could be holding a leave blower and it would still sound awesome.

Fantastic medley. I’ve tried one myself with similar songs from the 50s. The hard part for me was singing the right first note when the songs changed. I was listening closely and you did a terrific job. Well done.
