Ngl I kinda like the aesthetic of pixel gore, it’s kinda like “you’re not supposed to see this, yet you still are seeing it”, which is basically why gore is kinda creepy to us (your brain/eyes isn’t really that fond of seeing what is supposed to be inside someone, outside), but turned down to be cool/interesting more than ugly(in a good way)/disgusting/creepy

This is pretty accurate. I think I've seen just about all of these styles in the wild before.

Also, this video reminded me- When the types intersect, it gets so weird. On one hand, I'm "actually studies gore" due to various reasons, on the other hand I'm a candy gore artist. Yes, I drew the heart in its proper place between the lungs and drew the broken ribs as accurately as I could, the heart is still a candy heart and the ribs are candy canes.

I love the accurate ones but neon blood always gives a cool brain breaking scene affect like if your portraying something really horrifying it's to absolutely demolish the viewers senses

Tip for drawing medically accurate gore: EMT textbooks, if your school doesn’t have a program that has EMT textbooks, you can probably find them online. ⚠️Warning though, they are VERY graphic as they aren’t usually drawings… (they’re photos)
