Basically the only downside to the full 3 is the lenses. A really good buy considering the price.

Do the meta quest pro controllers connect well?

Unpopular opinion: I don't necessarily want lighter controllers. Like, if I'm throwing bananas in Gorilla Tag, I want it to feel like there's actually something in my hand.

Considering resolution staying the same i dont know what big of an impact it will have. In the climb game it will have less optimizations necessary meaning the image will be clearer, but outside of that i dont see what will improve. If it has the same processor, but lower resolution then in theory it should give higher FPS, but if quest 2 already had 120 fps then i dont see how we would get any better FPS. Feels like its not that big of an upgrade in practice.

Are the big triple A titles any good on the 3s and how's the MR on this hardware? The only quest I've played was my nephew's 2 and I own a psvr2 but i want a more portable solution that I can also use MR on. I play a mix of big titles and small titles

Bigger battery and lower resolution, it must have longer power life.

Down side is the 3 IPD settings, the main reason I have never gotten into Quest is the limited max IPD setting, as I have an IPD of 75mm, extreme I know, and this rules out a lot of headsets. My current headsets are the Pimax 8KX and the PSVR2 (PS5 and PC use), both are suitable for my massive IPD.

i don't feel like it's a worthwile upgrade if you have a quest 2, especially if you use it mainly to play pc vr and sometimes re4 vr (shame it's not on steam)

Fresnel lenses, rigid IPD, no headphone jack, and no three charging prongs on the bottom are just 4 reasons I would rather save up for the much better Quest 3. If the point is to introduce new people to VR why not just give them the best lenses to enjoy this new experience? Great review overall Naysy!
