What can you say about Leon Russell.. his career spanned over a half century playing keyboards for the best such as The Beach Boys, Monkees, Badfinger, Herb Alpert, Joe Cocker, Ike and Tina Turner, Ricky Nelson, George Harrison, Elton John, just to name a few. He was always known to have a bluesy, soulful voice. Go down the Russell rabbit hole... you will not be disappointed.

This is my favorites Leon song. He’s from Tulsa, where I’m from. He’s a legend here. He was actually classicly trained on piano. He had his own recored label and studio in Tulsa. His old studio has recently been renovated and made into a museum and recording studio. If you ever visit Tulsa, you’ll have to check out the Church Studio.

I recommend a Talent Legend Songwriter Juan Gabriel from Mexico city, he wrote many songs, check the video of his song Abrazame Muy Fuerte is a very emotional song, in English means Hold Me Very Tight and that time is our worst enemy because it doesn't stops for anybody, Juan Gabriel performed Abrazame Muy fuerte in Las Bellas Artes in Mexico city in the year 2013 with a large orchestra and mariachis, Juan Gabriel died in 2016

I'm sure I'll catch slack for this but Ray Charles cover of this song is the best version ! It's been covered a million times, Leon Russell may have been talented in some areas, But the man did not have a good voice ! 🙉
