Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band have been captivating audiences around the world since 1989. This band of star musicians is stopping in Prescott Valley for a performance at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at the Findlay Toyota Center, 3201 Main St.

Across the Street staff participated in a Q&A with the band’s members. The current lineup includes Ringo Starr on drums, percussion and vocals; Steve Lukather of Toto on guitars, bass and vocals; Colin Hay of Men at Work on guitars and vocals; Edgar Winter on keyboards, saxophone and vocals; Hamish Stuart of Average White Band on bass, guitar and vocals; Gregg Bissonette on drums, trumpet and backing vocals; and Warren Ham of Kansas on saxophone, harmonica, flute, percussion, keyboards and vocals. We were blessed to be in the audience for this concert. What a great show! Who would have thought when the Beatles were playing to a full house at Carnegie Hall that one day Ringo would be doing a concert, at 82, in the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona!

I know nothing about Ringo Starr because John Lennon grossed me out. Even to this day, I have never seen a Beatle video all the way through because of dead Lennon.
