Показать описание
Using Ableton can be a daunting task for beginners. Even the most advanced users may want to speed up their workflow. Whether your brand new to Ableton or have been using it for as long as you can remember, these keyboard shortcuts may be just what you need! Listed below are my top keyboard shortcuts that i use in all of my Ableton projects. The cmd function relates to mac and the ctrl function relates to windows.
The first and most essential Ableton shortcut is cmd+s or ctrl+s. This quickly saves your project so you don't lose your progress in the instance of a system crash. Make sure to use this shortcut as often as you can!
The next two shortcuts I use quit a bit in Ableton are cmd+z or ctrl+z. This first shortcut will quickly undo any undesired action. The opposite shortcut of thay one is cmd+y or ctrl+y. This will redo whatever you undid on the off chance that you changed your mind.
The following shortcuts are for Inserting tracks and clips in the Ableton arrangement view. To insert an audio track, cmd+t or ctrl+t will be your best friend. To insert a midi track, the cmd+shift+t or ctrl+shift+t shortcuts will do the same thing. To insert a midi clip, you must first select the length of time that you the midi clip to be, and use the keyboard shortcut cmd+shift+m or ctrl+shift+m.
The final Ableton shortcut in this video is one that i use quite often. By hitting the shortcut button A on your keyboard, you can open or hide the automation lanes. Using this shortcut is essential to keeping your session looking less cluttered. The automations lanes can take up a lot of space and be distracting. So make sure to use this Ableton shortcut Every time you're done automating to clean things up a bit!
