I was an adult before I even heard that anti-ginger was a thing. Also the word "ginger". I guess being a redhead [the term in Canada then] was rare enough here that nobody thought of it as something to be targeted. Also, who doesn't think red hair is an attractive feature? I mean, one might otherwise be fugly, but natural red hair is always a positive feature.

As a child I thought red heads were different but had a neighbor named Mona who was my age 6-7, and rven as a little boy, I was struck dumb by how incredibly beautiful she was. And when I was 16, I saw her again and she was even more! I remember, that for that day, we were making out and I was in a, euphoric state for long after. I never saw her again but I will never forget her, ever! 😙
