This is very helpful.🎉 I subscribed your channel for learning many classical pieces from Latin, to German, Spanish and French. I am a Taiwanese American in Southern California joining a community choir. Our conductor chooses many great musicians’ SATB songs. Your channel helps me a lot.

it's a very pretty tune. I with French were more intuitive a language to read, but that's hardly a fault of the composer :P

Thanks for this, but one glaring pronunciation error - "languissante" (bars 50} This is LAN-GEE-SANTE, not LANG-WEE-SANTE. Unlike words like "nuit" or "puis" the 'u' is there to make a hard 'g' sound, not to be joined to the 'i'.

L’interprétation du cantique est un tout petit peu sur le roulement de la partition.

Very helpful but there's one serious flaw for people who know french. The words are "au son de Ta voix" i.e. "at the sound of your voice". But you sing "a son..." which means "at his" and turns the rest of the sentence into a sequence of meaningless syllables which I can't sing

Dude! When a consonant is nasalized, don't sing the continuant; e.g. Ns and M's. Yikes!
