I never thought it could get any better than the remastered version for the PS4 but it did indeed. TLOU is and always will be my favorite game of all time. It’s up there with God Of War, Resident Evil, and RDR2 for me.

Holy shit, I have a ps4 pro and recently purchased a ps5, when playing this game remastered on the pro before playing the ps5 version i honestly thought it was a little bit disappointing.. however after playing the ps5 version re-make, then putting to ps4 version remastered, I see the light.. it looks so much better, clearer and no floating lag on the 5

Its incredible how much better the 5 version is when you go back to the ps4

PS4 soldier had a 2013 normal flashlight, but the PS5 gave the soldier a weirdly out of place LED flashlight

You can see how despite ps5 graphics are obviously 1000% better, the lighting from the ps4 remastered is masterfully used for a brilliant storytelling.
When the soldier initially points Joel and Sarah the light darkens all their surroundings, it truly captures the feeling of being trapped with nowhere to escape

I still prefer the ps4 version because the graphics are light tone and vibrant as opposed to the ps5 version that is dark and gloomy and plus the ps5 version destroyed what made the ps3/ps4 remastered version iconic by killing off one of the most important characters joel. That's another reason i say to hell with the ps5 version of TLOU.

PS3 is the original version. PS4 is a HD-Remaster. PS5 is a remake. There is a difference.

You didn't get the scene with him crying as she died in his arms, which was where the remake truly shined. His facial expressions never quite conveyed his emotional state appropriately until the remake.
