More than 10 million people along the Florida Gulf Coast are under tropical alerts as tropical storm Debby strengthened rapidly Sunday as it moved through the Gulf of Mexico.

My husband and I just moved to Valdosta GA from Michigan. This is our first summer.
My husband hates the snow and wanted to see if we could handle the heat…..
Needless to say, I’ll take snow over this any day!

Debby has not and will not become a hurricane. It's max wind gusts are 39kts. That is a low grade Tropical storm

I wouldn't say SLAMS, it's heavy rain, 25mph winds. There's no 70mph winds, some flooding, and alot of displaced vacationing people spazzing out
