Mercury: throw back to team and disorientate ult.
Artemis: root traps, and possible whole team stun ult, plus with her passive you’re guaranteed to be running frostbound or poison star
Kumba: do i have to explain why?
I don’t know much about warriors, don’t play them much, but i would say chaac or tyr, i’ll give it to chaac, ranged aoe slow and massive silencing ult
Anubis: wrap hard cc, grasping hands slows, and with gem of iso you will not be escaping his slows.

I had to come up with these off the top of my head, game wasnt open, it’s 5 am, not getting smite right now. I probably forgot a couple better ones, but artemis and kumba are guarenteed picks.

Thor gives easy set up to Nox plus the AoE stuns, the walls are also cc sorta even w/o the stun due to it blocking paths for the enemy

Geb isn't a good beads burner but if by far the best guardian for popping Magi's cloak. His roll out can pop it even without it being charged to where it knocks people back. Not to mention that his one is a huge cone knockup and his ult while being a waste for Magi's is a semi-decent beads burner. Not like a Him Batz or Ares but it's a 2 second stun if not beads. Because of this I would use Geb in my team over an Artio or Khumba just for the practically of the cc in regards to actives.

I can't agree with cupid being in this list at all. Athena should have been at least considered, and we haven't even thought about diminishing returns. Cern should 100% be the hunter pick, Nu wa should have at least been considered for the mage class (remember her passive?)

I mean Kumba isnt as good as artio. you’re basing his mez off of duration yet mez are easily countered due to the fact of any player damage can wake the god up. If artio has good amount of cool down she spams her slow cripple and stun so much that it’s hard to get away. and if you put her with a team of other gods who have good cc she basically stops any god from running away. unless beads is popped for those few seconds.

She’d be my guardian slot.

I might have put Fafnir for guardian since his ult refreshes cooldowns, so you can have two stuns and leap slow things.

This is not the ultimate cc team you did not account for team synergy. Many of these cc will cancel out other cc on the team.
