I always like the monument building ones. It is a shame they are so easy in Emperor. Pharaoh had the best monument building missions.

Mixed farming and irrigation would have mitigated your food shortage. I had 3-4 Rice/Cabbage Farmhouses and only 2 Hemp Farms supporting my single Common block. I only really needed to import Spices when my Elites needed Tasty Food.

I started growing Tea in February of the second year since I figured it would be my main export. Six irrigated Tea Curing Sheds might sound like overkill, but they kept me afloat until I could finally tax my Elite block towards the end.

You could've increased the cost of Tea from 55 to 60 after the price increase event. The extra revenue is rather subtle, but every little bit counts in the early going.

Oolong tea stands out from the green and black varieties due to how it's processed. The taste will vary depending on how much oxidation is allowed to occur (among other factors), so there are many nuances to oolong teas.
