Your information is extremely useful and timely. I am at mid-career level with bachelor and master degree in engineering though not in software engineering. I am looking for appropriate resources or program to learn data skills and apply it in my engineering profession. I am currently considering pursuing a master of data science degree online with Deakin University or Illinois tech or possibly pursue an on campus degree to get international exposure to boost my credentials. Your video is insightful to enable me make the appropriate decision. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! This really answered a lot, especially for Aussies. Was hoping u could tell me if u think Master of Data Science is better than bachelor of computer science. I'd be more of a career transitioner, witha bachelor of arts who's worked in warehouses and customer service most of my life. Is the extra year worth it for bachelor of computer science, better foundation, more skills and options, or does Master of Data Science cover everything I'd need to get into data science? Really appreciate your help witth this. BTW I was already enrolled in both, but had to defer.

But how about data science boot camp? Do you recommend to attend data science boot camp?

Hi sam! Im looking forward to become a data scientist and I've got my bachelor's in Science (Mathematics). Can i go for Data Science ? I don't have any technical knowledge nor will i say that my mathematics is strong. Will the master's course teach me everything from scratch ? Or do they require prior knowledge of Linear Algebra, statistics and probability along with a programming language ?

Hello Samanvay, what's your opinion on University of Sydney's bachelor of science and master of mathematical science degree if I want to be a data scientist in the future? This course is not accredited by the Australian Computer Society. However, I can major in data science or computer science for Bachelor of Science. I can also specialize in Data science with Master of Mathematical science.
