I love my old Old Timer. I am glad they updated it. I have quite a few knives for camp, EDC, and as I call it "utility"

I use my Old Timer as "when need a knife" situation. I have a Kershaw for cutting tape/boxes. My true EDC is a 943 Benchmade and camp knife is that and a Barrage.

Case has knocked their frame locks out of the park. I've handled both of them. Absolutely on par or above with ANYONE in the price range.

I wonder if we'll ever see the Tenacious with S35VN with anything other than the Blue FRN scales without having to buy the cheaper version with black scales and swapping them. Would be nice to see Persistence with S35VN option as well.

Love the design of the T.M. Hunt Big Bear Bowie, as well as the Schrade Old Timer Heritage series. I look forward to see if they continue to update old models such as the 152OT Old Timer Sharpfinger, 158OT Old Timer Guthook Skinner, 15OT Deerslayer, 156OT Old Timer Lil' Finger, and the 165OT Old Timer Woodsman.

Xin Kiritsuke is beautiful…not much on the handle but the Damascus and shape of the blade is spot on.
