The Kia Carnival key fob contains a removable key that can be used to unlock and open the driver's door. From there, you can pop open the hood in order to jump start or charge the vehicle dead battery. Found it the hard way that you can only open the front driver door. My jumper cables were in the very back. Poor forethought of kia, especially since this vehicle notoriously doesn't start in slight cold
