DJI Phantom 2 Axis Gimbal Flight Test 'RAW' 1080P 30fps

So today I have been developing my 2 axis gimbal, It is still very "notchy" but that is down to me using the cheapest Digital servo's I could find. They are Savox half metal geared. they cost me £17.99 each. I have moved the gimbal further back under the phantom due to it originally being nose heavy. so far it is "ok" I think the next step will need to be more expensive/high hz rated Servo's. I have not weighed it yet but I will when I have finnished it. I think it is pretty cool when you can see the arms of the quad come in and out of shot :) the servo's are plugged directly into the naza F1 and F2 ports.

Good to see you are able to fly, unfortunatley down here in the south the snow has gone but we now have very high winds!!

Thanks mate, yeah I have now balanced the props (i did a video) but I didn't think it was good enough to post here. I think it helped a little bit bit it didn't fix the problem completly. I might try edit the video so people are aware of prop balancing. I used the cello tape method as I could not find my sand paper. thanks for watching and commenting dude!

this was just a home made one, there is better ones on the market now. I'd wait and see if theres a brushless one that fits the phantom, they will be out in the next few weeks.

I got a new gimbal but blew one of my digital servos :( I need to replace that before I can try again, I am working on other phantom things at the mo so its on the back burner for a while :(
