It's that time of the year again: After an action-packed season exploring Europe's greatest fans, here's my ranking of each fanbase I've witnessed in 2023/24 from worst to best. No holding back, this is my honest opinion and I might criticize your club. 🍿

As an English fan, I can explain why we have such a weird atmosphere at our games. The FA has kinda banned ultra culture all together, we aren’t allowed to bring flag poles in, are searched for flares and our grounds our built for jumping and chore. Its been growing slightly with some clubs, Crystal Palace have the best example but until the FA stop the bans we can’t grow our ultra culture due to the constant stigma of hooliganism and fights

I’m a Greek Canadian and have supported panathinaikos for basically my whole life and knew that rapid are a friend club (along with Ferencvaros and dinamo Zagreb) but I had no idea how insane the rapid fan base was until I saw the video you posted. Great work !

I feel like Fabrizio Romano has kind of ruined football. I mean think about it, I admire his dedication to the sport and all, but the excitement of your club signing a big player on transfer deadline day is gone now.
(edit: I don’t hate Fabrizio Romano, I admire his dedication to the sport as mentioned before, I just think he took away the unpredictability of transfers away from the sport)

I'd recommend FC Basel - FC Zürich. It's the "Klassiker" in Switzerland. Lots Of Pyros and always great Choreos, but still a bit underrated.

Saint-Etienne is promoted back in Ligue 1 after 2 years. Historic club with considered the best supporters of France. You should go there.
The biggest French derby is between them & Lyon, but can't garanteed if supporters will be allowed.

Even as a Swedish Djurgården supporter I think you should go to a game of our two biggest rivals AIK vs Hammarby. Those two clubs have some magical ability to boost each other's anger at each other and go fully crazy. Imagine Stockholm only having 1 million people and you divide it by 3 which means each team has approx 330000 supporters each give or take. Yet AIK's arena can get as many as 40000+ attendance during a AIK vs Djurgården or Hammarby game. That's insane cause it's literally like 5% of Stockholm's population. + The games get ultra emotional for the players and the supporters.

You should absolutely take a look at Slavic football clubs, especially in Poland and Serbia, the passion, hate and love is more apparent than anywhere else. Even the willingness to ignore bans or find loopholes for them. It's true love for our beautiful game of football.

For Real Madrid it's like that because ultras were kicked out by Perez, which was a good decision since this group of ultras were racist and created lots of fights with the opposing team fans.

I know you have said Liverpool is overrated before but I think you should go there for a knockout game of any competition. I went to the carabou cup final this year and the atmosphere was insane especially during extra time. Would very much recommend

Fiago should come to Philippines and watch a game of Kaya FC Iloilo. Trust me, he'll fall in love with the club, fanbase and the atmosphere the same way he felt on Rapid Wien.
