Vinnie Paul Abbot, Darrell 'dimebag' Abbot, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Nick Mensa of megadeath, Neil Peart, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Kurt Cobain, Chester Bennington, Scott Weiland, and many more. He paved the way for so many modern day guitarists of today. Rock on in heaven EVH.

...in my not so humble opinion.
not too many VH songs with this level of composition, using all the little tricks to build an incredibly dynamic track. this is Sammy's ULTIMATE song with VH, as much as Mewise Magic is Dave's.
again, my not very humble opinion.
yes, the band was in disarray, shambles, shredded, etc. but those conditions only led to greatness in the final outcome.
art is both a reflection of life and an escape from it.
