Your video recalled my memory with IL-2 1946 over 15 years ago, I had no flight joystick but only use keyboard and mouse, very hard in the beginning, then I pushed the keys rapidly to make the flight control easier, and in that age the 1024 x 768 resolution looks very well. Keep going, your videos are so nice.

Hey~ Sorry for a lengthy Comment in advance, I just wanted to say that I love your content!
I actually found you through YouTubes Algorithm almost 2 years ago, when you uploaded an FW-190 Sortie intercepting B-17s and P-51s over Kassel.
I've been following here and there since my friend group is doing similar things in IL2 1946. I'm a mission builder aswell, probably not as good as you though, but decent, and me and my friends fly 1946, DCS World and even custom made missions in War Thunder using the CDK tool. But 1946 always has a special place in our hearts since it offers so much.
We don't upload anything publically though, we just do it for fun.

Recently, I've been playing with the thought of asking you this, and I figured; Hey why not.
So I'm a Japanese/German native, with my Fathers family coming from Kumano, just north of Kure, and my Mothers family coming from Hamburg, Germany. As such, I can speak both languages. As you can tell I can also speak English fluently. Would you, by any chance, be in need for someone like me to accompany you in your missions? I'd have to switch over to a somewhat stock Ypack and your Zonk mod, as I'm currently using my own, heavily modded VP Modpack game, but that shouldn't be an issue.
I'm mostly interesting in flying Japanese Aircraft personally, but I'm fine with any other nation aswell.
As for timezone, it varies as I'm studying Japanology in Germany, however I am quite often in Japan, due to my family and future being there.

I apologize again for this lengthy Comment, and even if I don't fit in quite well, maybe you can consider doing a mission flying Japanese Aircraft sometime in the future again! (I loved your Ki-84 intercept sortie~)

I LOVE this iteration of the IL2 series. Personally, I think it's got the best AI of the lot. Sod the "old" graphics, I just care that the AI pilots will, (at least if they're good enough in campaign mode), fly to their strengths.

Been a long time since I have watched one of these, enjoyed it. You know, IL2 GB may have better graphics and sound but it is limited, but '46 gives you so much to play with and such huge battles, it really is a gem. I have always used BAT but I think I will try Ypack.

Although listed as F6F-5s, the Hellcats are actually -3s in -5 livery. The small quarter light windows behind the pilot seat are a dead giveaway.

4k video is a two edged sword, thought I was smart downloading Terminator Dark Fate in 4k but you could see all the creases on Linda Hamilton’s turkey neck.

That staggered takeoff is a good idea! They can't see in front of them but if the plane to your side goes then you know you are clear to go.

4k is more realistic than real life. How is that even possible? When viewing a landscape in real life your eyes constantly refocus as you look at different things but on a screen it’s universally focused so you don’t get that refocusing as you scan.

Nice mission but what were you going to do if you missed the hook? You never went to full power once you contacted the deck.
