Another recent delivery to the layout was the newly tooled Hornby HST - in the Rail Adventure livery. It’s seen running with Heljan barrier wagons, which is what the power cars typically run with. I did mean to take more clips but I forgot so enjoy this short one.

Some one at Hornby did not know how these locomotives are currently operated. There are no cab end couplings on the models In Europe the locos they use are electric approx 4500HP each with a rear loco if reversing is required. (not always required dependent on route). Available in HO have been German class 103 and 110, Austrian Taurus and a Dutch BO-BO. Not available as a model is the Swiss Re6/6 10700hp BO, BO, BO

May I know what are the wagon numbers on the 2 ferry waggons (I assume they are from Heljan 5020 twin set)?

I was looking at getting this but can't stomach the Hornby price for this power car set, where only one is powered.
Got all the Heljan Rail Adventure barrier wagons but will wait to get the Accurascale H&H Class 50 instead.
