I love these isolated tracks because being a guitarist myself since 79 & hearing this song a million times there's still things you can't easily pick out that you finally get to hear the whole picture

Notice how there's very little low end in his tone? All mid range... but in a FULL BAND MIX it sounds glorious. If your mixes sound muddy, a lot of times it's because the guitars have too much low end. What sounds good in your bedroom doesn't always translate to record.

Killer player, I’ve heard the song a lot over the the years, as a guitar player myself not loving the tone that was used here in 2021. But really great to hear the track stripped down.
