DIY Study Permit Application via SDS | Canada | Approved

Hi Guys!

This is the step-by-step process on how I DIY my Study Permit Application via Student Direct Stream. Please be advised that all the documents I submitted/mentioned in my video are solely based on my answers from the application I made and my personal experience only. This video may or may NOT be applicable to you but this basically shows most of the important steps to follow and things to consider. Hopefully this helps your future Study Permit application. Also, if you're new and don't know where to start you can also apply via look up the process of Regular Stream, but again as I mentioned in my video, the processing takes longer but you don't need a GIC anymore. But make sure that your other proof of financial support can at least accommodate both your tuition fee and living expenses for a year.

Then again as I mentioned in my video, the processing takes longer than SDS but you don't need a GIC for a Regular Application. Although you need to make sure that your other proof of financial support can at least accommodate both your tuition fee and living expenses for a year for a higher chance of approval. Proof of Financial Support is the main requirement the visa officer is looking into but definitely not the only thing to consider! Please take note of that! :)

Hi! SDS right not now takes about 3 months or more. Sadly, there are applicants who lodged Sept-Nov who haven't received any decision yet :(

Hi, do i always have to do IELTS if u want to do SDS Application?
Can i also get an agency thru SDS process or it is only done thru DIY?

How much did u invest in your gic? Is it only the minimum or you exceed from the minimum?did you show more bank statement?
