I like skinning because it is a natural extension of doing quests; you can frequently skin your own kills and not uncommonly skin kills by others who aren't in skinning. Also, if you go on a farming spree you can usually find more skins than you will herbs or ores. I worked that out thru experience with all 3, and that's my story and I'm sticking with it. Right now I'm pairing it with leatherworking, but could easily be talked into joining with a second gathering profession. Just going into War Within so we'll see. In WW I'll probably use my warband to go for herbalism and mining, at least for now.

Skinning is usually the gathering spec I leave out. From my thinking, the skinning supply usually is plenty, whilst there's an insane demand for ores and herbs, especially the first couple days.

ok, so how so i get the the profession knowledge for skinning? i see superb fangs on my auction house but i dont get how they already have 40 points into trained tracker
