Because of your videos, my husband and I are doing an Amtrak trip in April for our 42nd anniversary. We leave Maricopa for New Orleans, 2 nights there, then Chicago and 2 nights there. Next is the Zephyr and 2 nights in Emeryville. Then the Coast Starlight to LA (1 night in LA is enough) then the Texas Eagle back to Maricopa. We're doing it all in roomettes except for The City of New Orleans where we have a bedroom. I can't wait!

Just flew into Seattle and took their lite rail to the Embassy Suites. I board the Empire Builder tomorrow. I have limited mobility but it was still doable. So just do it. You can always stop and rest and everyone has been so nice.

Hang out for Australia at the moment, the east coast is in flood mode, been here for months. Quite a few long train trips available. Indian Pacific, The Ghan. & a few overnighters.
Ive done the across Canada quite a few years ago. Lots of lakes, and wolves, etc. Competition on the train every day for the first to see, animals.

Recent trip on Empire Builder via Roomettes. Future trip.necessity need larger bed space due to mobility issues vs.upper berth. Please give sizes of lower berths both bedroom and family bedroom. Thanks

Always watch your videos... But you need to take "The Canadian" across 🇨🇦 The meals are absolutely fabulous

Cleveland Guardians (baseball) ballfield is downtown not "far" from Amtrak. The only issue is the Lakeshore Ltd and Capital Ltd have arrivals / departures between 1am and 5am. But there's plenty of great downtown hotels!
