I love how creative yet simple these meals are (the lunches and dinners) I swear I can’t ever come up with anything that isn’t just rice chicken and broccoli! That hash brown casserole is called Funeral potatoes here is Utah. It’s a delicacy around these parts lol. We typically top it with corn flakes mixed in melted butter before baking so it creates a yummy crunchy topping.

Soak your apples for a little bit in apple juice to prevent them from turning brown! That’s what I used when I send my kids with apples in their lunch boxes

We always soak our apples in a bit of lemon lime soda to prevent browning. Works really well. Tastes better than lemon juice.

I have a recommendation for keeping apples from browning… white grape juice! It doesn’t add a sour taste like lemons, but has enough acid to do the trick! Thanks for all the videos.. I truly enjoy them and have used many of your recipes!
