Now I’m working on healing from the impact of this in childhood. Rewriting old narratives and learning to have compassion for myself. I didn’t know what OCD was and believed the intrusive thoughts were all mine and had moral implications. I would get stuck trying to mentally cleanse myself, like washing your hands repeatedly. There was never relief and I lived in fear of others seeing how horrible I was inside and rejecting me.

My OCD has attached itself to aging and I can’t stop obsessing over it. I hyper fixate on it and everytime I see anyone I think about it and I don’t know how to get myself to stop because half the time I don’t realize I am doing it. My brain literally hurts from thinking so much but I don’t know how to stop

What's it called if i have multiple types of OCD. I am diagnosed with just OCD but I also have mental and physical compulsions constantly.

Social anxiety: we are always thinking about it

Ocd: trying not to think about it

Sitting with it isn’t hard, its hard to do nothing afterwards, thats the problem
