I apologize this took a minute. I was occupied finishing my undergrad work and then taking a two-week break from using my brain.
The Boler-Smylie Dystopia Classification System breaks the genres of Apocalypse, Dystopia, and Utopia down to their unique information identities using three categories: population, information systems, and information fluidity.
I still feel like the definitions here could be tweaked a bit. Please feel free to offer suggestions. It is far from perfect, but the goal is to be as focused on information transfer as possible.
The Google Sheets link below is fully editable. Please feel free to make any adjustments and leave comments on your rationale; I'd like this to be as interactive as possible. It contains two sheets, the first, a breakdown of the system as shown in the video, and the second is a ChatGPT 4.0 generated top 100 list using this system as I taught it.
