We shot this before Supercar Ron made it public that he was the owner, hence the omission. Be sure to follow his channel to see what he does with it and how he legalizes the car! He got a great one.

A little susgestion... Turn up Ed's voice by 40~50%, it's a bit of too low, and when music kick back on I almost had a heart attack😂

Does anybody else find it insanely stupid that these kind of regulations even exist in the first place? It just seems so ridiculous.

You HAVE to do a show on why it's illegal to have a brown sports car. There has to be some story behind it.

Ed, that brown car ban is a troll joke from the early 2000s. Please tell me you didn't seriously fall for that...

Hey Ed! I just wanted to let you know that I agree that the manual Murci SV is the greatest car ever made, and my ultimate dream car. I’m 16 and recently made a pledge to myself that someday I would own the orange one that is currently in China, since that’s my dream spec. Essentially, I’m saying that if you don’t manage to own a Manual Murci SV in the next 10 to 20 years, you’re going to have some competition. Love the content!

The only reason I sold this car, with the final four digits of the VIN as 1526 is that I was simply tired of it. It was beautiful, it was fast, and when me and the spouse went out on Friday nights the restaurant would ask to valet park it for FREE and put it in front of the place for the glamourous look. It cost me nothing to own and did everything right but I simply, after 19 years, wanted another toy. So I drive a '14 Cayman S today.

The Cayman is great, but I really enjoyed tinkering with the 928, something I can't do with the Cayman S.

This was an enjoyable 10 minute advertisement.

It is nice to see Ed help drive up the price of his friend's car. 💰

I might be your guy! I live in Canada and have a home in a country setting, away from the city. Currently have storage for my vintage Mercedes (It can be moved out and sit in the rain and snow) and I can drive it up to 50, 000 km - and every year you can take it back to Currated to attempt to sell it for a while. Lets do this!

Did they stop allowing for 1 import a year for USPS drivers? Thats how my friend used to bring Skylines in 15 years ago. We had a couple buddies that worked for the postal service, they could bring in right hand drives “for their job” then after they were titled for US he would sell and give them a kick back. I have no idea if still allowed but used to work pretty well if you have a buddy that runs a mail route.

So Ed, have you ever tried to get a petition to modify the 25 year rul going? Obviously Canada has the 15 year rule and that would more than suffice imo, or at least have it be the first step to getting it to where it should be (5 years unfortunately, but at least that should in theory keep the automakers somewhat happy).

The best solution, would be for the US (and Canada as a result) to adopt the Euro standards for safety and emissions going forward, and being able to retroactively apply them to older cars, thus negating the 25 year rule in the first place. I'm sure that would save a lot of the automakers money in the long run, and allow for cars that probably wouldn't be super successful in the US (wagons and diesels specifically) to be shipped over by the manufacturer directly as they wouldn't have to make a bunch of small changes to federalize them. Idk why we have different standards, despite sharing an atmosphere and humans sharing the same basic body structure. Also I'd propose a massive tariff (like 50%+) on China made vehicles to prevent those disgraceful pieces of cheap dishonest junk from showing up here.

Got a chance to walk the showroom on a visit and it's an experience you have to do once. John was with a customer, but Stephan was there, friendly, and we got to walk through the TWO Hammers they had in the showroom. Surreal...

As a lifelong avid motorcyclist and former racer, I know very little about supercars other than some of them seem really cool. That said, I really enjoyed your presentation on this car. Well done.
