Looks delicious. I’m going to use your recipe because I’ve seen about a dozen of them and none of them use heavy cream. I love the thick consistency because chicken and dumplings is supposed to be heavier than chowder not soupy.

I make what I call a deluxe chicken and dumplings
Make it the original way only thing different and make it more hardy and comfort I add carrots and peas
