Here's A First Look at Sony PS5's VRR Setting - Firmware Update CONFIRMED!

Sony has confirmed that the long-awaited VRR firmware update for the PS5 console will be released in the "coming months", and also gave us a first look of the VRR setting inside the Playstation menu, explaining how it works with supported and unsupported games.

It's honestly impressive how long Sony waited to add vrr when it's advertised on the box. Should be illegal to advertise "future features" unless specifically labeled that way.

I don't know I'm going to keep a disk in my PS5 but I did last night. It turned on this morning at 3am waking me up. I got out of bed thinking it was the VRR update that we thought was coming at the end of this month.

Hi Vincent, thanks for these videos...quick question, if VRR gets automatically appplied like ALLM would that mean that x900h owners like myslef would have to "forcefull" use it and lose Local Dimming?
