I know some men who are followers. However, it is a great idea to step back and watch especially during the beginning of a relationship to see what he's all about. I know many women who have tried to control everything early/quickly and they are not satisfied with what happens over time.

OK, I understand what you're saying, about men wanting to lead, and I do agree with you in general. However, if there is a situation in which I know with certainty that I'm right about something, or that I know more about a certain matter or subject than he does, I'm not going to be quiet just so that he can "lead". But, I can state or share what I think or know in a way that doesn't sound like I'm telling him what to do.
