You should have the red test lead in the 10A plug on your multimeter for this test otherwise if there’s a large current draw on the battery it will blow the fuse in the multimeter.

Depends on the age of the car. Newer cars will show a draw because it the computerized components.

My 2012 Shelby battery dies and wont recharge after sitting for 2 months. Ive replaced the battery 7 times in 3 years. Should I just go with a gel battery? I dont drive the car much to keep it new but Im sick of replacing batteries. HELP me. Kevin

Did you say 50 or 15? And instead of a really quick loud statement! U should have explained the multi meter switch and exactly how to do it and then explain what over 50 amp draw means most common places it could cause issues!!! I mean if you're going to make a video and ur goal is to help people find and fix problems with there vehicle because all mechanicsshops literally rob u! Like to install a alternator if the government issed time to complete job says 5 hours then they automatically charge u 5 hours no matter what! That's why you always hear shops mechanic tell you there hourly rate! There all about the same except dealership cost 50%more and parts Fuck if a part at AutoZone cost u $100 they charge you 200 300 or 400 for it mostly 300% mark up on parts!! So knowing this Now do you see how they are robbing us!???
