It's simply beyond me why the companies strip down equipements on the petrol automatic variants. Jeep did it, Hyundai did it with Tucson and the Creta. We want non rattling, smooth, quiet, punchy petrol automatics with all the equipements.

I did the test drive of both the Petrol AT and the Diesel MT. I felt that the Diesel is more punchy and responsive and you get the torque as low as 1750rpm. Petrol has a Manual mode that can compensate a bit for the slow automatic gear shift response, but not that fuel efficient. Diesel has got more power and torque and as an enthusiast, thats my pick.

Compass is based On Punto platform like all Fiat cars instead of Fiat 595 Abarth Competezione, Opel Corsa was also based on Punto so ride is always best above all

The last finishing line of the video sounded a bit disturbing as DIESEL is always Good, Petrol is all Bad. Reminding the Presenter in the video. Diesel can max rev upto 4000RPM were as the PETROL can rev upto 6500RPM, which makes a huge lot of difference, Efficiency is the main thing that many people are always looking for, in that case, Why reviewing Petrol and Say Diesel is the best

You summed it up well in the end. Not worth unless petrol and automatic is what you are looking for. Given the steep price of fuel, the over all package does not look enticing to the Indian consumer.
