There is a certain time of spring where hormone levels are so high that some birds get completely obsessed with their own reflections. It only seems to happen with some birds as well. After breeding season is over or the bird mates those territorial hormones lessen, so he probably found a mate or moved to a different territory. :)

What a delightful video.
What I find even more interesting than animals acting weird collectively is one animal doing it completely on their own. I think it individualizes them in a way we don't often think of wild animals.
Now we definitely need Hopper memorialized in some kind of flipbook.

Great video. Once, a little bird used to attack my window, and it was because of his reflection. I gave him food and water, but he wasn't interested, he just yelled and attacked his reflection on the window.

I think you should make an animation like how they made animations in the 90s with the different cells and where you paint each frame. I think that would be really cool.😃
