Mumias Sugar reopens after months of shutting down for maintenance

Mumias sugar company has resumed operations after closing for maintenance in April this year. The company’s chief executive says they are still experiencing acute shortage of cane but have come up with a strategy with a solution that will see the firm operating at full capacity in the next two years.
