A while back, one of my “friends” stole my iPod then she started showing it to everyone and I asked to see it so she gave it to me and said “wow this looks exactly like my iPod. It has the same scratches and everything.” After that I stuffed it in my pocket and she started to yell at me and I just told her that it was mine. If you’re wondering how she got it in the first place, I had hung up my jacket and she found it. But before you ask, yes, I am sure that she stole it because the iPod was password protected…with my password and looked exactly like mine. Kind of like the bike story. Just thought that was interesting.

Back when iPods were what teenagers wanted my sister’s was stolen. The police said the same thing to us. So with the burden of recovery on us we began searching sales sites. We found the iPod on Craigslist for $200! It had a cover/case so the bandits must not have done a thorough examination of their newly acquired product. We took our big, tatted, biker Dad and his buddy to retrieve it. They stayed in the car. When we met with the guys we took the cover off flipped it over and right there was her name and the special message our Mom had engraved for her. The guys instantly began stating that they were selling it for one of their sisters. So Dad and his buddy got out of the car and asked if we needed to handle this a different way or if the guys were willing to man up and confess. They “confessed” that they “found” it. No they didn’t. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂
