Dan, if you are going to do more retexturing in the future there is a datapack called Custom Roleplay Data that makes it possible to add textures without replacing textures already in the game. It is technically not vanilla but it is purely cosmetic and does not affect any game mechanics. Alternatively, if you don't want to use a datapack, in vanilla resource packs you can set a texture to only display on items with specific names. That way you could, for example, give your sword a custom texture while not changing the texture of every other diamond sword.

Dan, if you ONLY put a Pressure Plate on top of the Dropper, as soon as they walk on top, they will get armor!
EDIT: Also you can BAIT them to walk through (Put a regular gate in front when u don't want anyone to come in) By removing the BACK wall, and having a BED there that's only accessible by walking through "THE ARMORY", AT NIGHT they will rush to get in, then you can sort who can go! (You can have Banner on ground and they can walk through)
EDIT EDIT: Boats in 1.21 can be LEASHED, and it's a big deal BECAUSE VILLAGERS IN BOATS FOLLOW U ANYWHERE and you don't have to deal with uneven terrain, you can just JUMP UP to pull the BOAT UP!

Dan, if you place a bell and a bed next to eachother in the nether, then ring the bell villagers within a certain distance should go to the bed, you could use this to find rott

Hey Dan, I’ve noticed that when getting the carrots from the machine it seems to be going more onto the creator rather than into the hopper. You could try placing a trapdoor to stop the flowing on top of it, that way it also wouldn’t stop it from going into the hopper

Here’s a tip for making Villagers more cooperative:

If you right click them to trade, they will stand in place and stop moving for a second. That means you can spam right clicking and exiting while pushing a villager to keep it from running off.

Hey Dan! I have some idea to upgrade/expand your village. You can build houses for villagers and put beds in there so villagers can actually breed and have good living conditions. Also quick note, if you want to lock in Fungo's family jobs, make sure to trade with them so they won't loose their jobs! It was a fun video to watch!

you could make a news paper stand with a 1x1 painting (or bigger) by it, and each episode or whenever you want, you could replace that painting with one of a newspaper describing what has been happening but from the villagers point of view. Or you could do comics or something, i dont know, it is your world, do what you want with it :D

It was very cool with the fungo’s sign and picture, you could write «farm» on the four fences underneath if you want to

Dan, Villagers stick around bells so if you want to change their meeting spot just break the bells and place it somewhere else. (Another tip is when you hit the bell all the villagers go in the house). Hope this helps.
