♦ Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 : University (Part 3)

Hello, took me long enough lol, here's the last comparison I'll be making on the topic of The Sims University, here I'll talk about failing university, graduating, and I'll briefly mention careers plus a lot of extras, like objects, interactions, skills, life states, influence, new deaths, etc.

My Opinion?

Sims 2 had lots of details as usual BUT the cutscenes, interactions, objects, influence and NPCs were my favorite part, overall if we talk about the expansion as a whole it's one of the most complete, I wasn't aware that influence was introduced here so it contribute to major game features so it's even more impressive looking back.

Sims 3 followed Sims 2 a lot but the parts were it did its own thing were my favorite, I loved the new skills, the new objects they introduced, there were way more than I remembered! I'm glad they did bring stuff back, it wasn't all inspired in university, the photo booth, the bowling alley, the murphy bed, they all made a lot of sense in this expansion and it was a solid experience. I also loved all the new ways to die cause ya know, Sims.

Sims 4 did well too, I liked how they brought many objects back but also added more in depth skills, the graduation felt a little too lackluster but in the end what's important is the perks you get from college, and I think Sims 4 has the best perks for jobs, it's not only a higher level like the rest of the games, but actual advantage over Sims who just maxed out a skill, so yeah, going to college is worthwhile here specially.

All of these felt so complete I wouldn't pick a winner, I think this is one of the few expansions who held up all the way through the series, to me, it's up there with Seasons and Pets, no wonder why so many were asking for it.

Bruh, I was playing Sims 2 University and every time my sim went to class, he went in pjs. He would never change into his everyday which was hilarious since he would always go to his final exam in pajamas.

I'll never forget the day I discovered the vending machine death in TS3 lmfao...it was her FIRST day on campus and I was trying to get a free soda, the damn thing falls on her and kills her...I never knew about the death if you rant about it though, interesting, always loved TS3 uni even though it got laggy pretty often.

As much as I love Sims 3 University, the one thing that pissed me off was that when your Sim graduates, and they go to the ceremony, there is like so many Sims, it is unbelievable! And you have to wait so long for someone to enter, and it is so annoying! Worst part is that your Sim might miss the ceremony and not get the extra trait and their diploma which sucks. :(

The Sims 3 University Life was hands down the best university EP thanks to the open world, social groups, dares and really cool venues. I also love how each major was truly unique, unlike TS2 and TS4 that have a ton of majors but all of them are more or less the same with different descriptions and skills.

You mean to tell me in ONE Sims 3 pack you got everything in about SEVEN of The Sims 4 game, expansion, and stuff packs.

I don't like doing university content. Because I play video games when I'm not doing college work and playing sims university is the same thing, but I'm telling a virtual character to avoid doing college homework because his fun meter is down. Just like me IRL.

Sims 1 is savage for sending your kids to military school if the kid grades drop too low.

Okay, Sims 3 actually put in a ton of stuff I didn't expect, and it just makes me even more annoyed now that we don't have the photo booth, any other arcade machines beyond the giant four-player one, or the pool table. The ping-pong table is fine, but come on, Sims 4! Our college students need more stuff to do! And I miss having actual graduation parties. Do the rabbit hole thing if you must for getting the actual diploma, but at least give us the option to throw our own shindig too! Meh. . .

Man i miss the sims 2 graphics, i really like the style of the charcters, unlike the new one. Sims 3 is an exception since they look the most realistic.
