So we helped write and sanction the rules about banning third country import of sausages into the EU, probably to protect UK sausage producers, and now because we've left we don't like the rule 🤣🤣 welcome to brexit, sir 🤣🤣

when the UK was a LAW-MAKING member of the EU, we treated countries outside of the union as 3rd Countries and actively banned products from them, which didn't meet the standards which the UK helped create - duh!!! You pro-actively chose to be a "3rd Country" and to suffer the restrictions you created - duh!!!

When the tiniest violin in the world plays for you it is special. Because we on the continent wrote the most beautifull tunes. Nobody cares Britain. You have no say whatsoever over what the EU does.

The irony is that the UK helped draft these laws to maintain standards for meat and dairy products originating outside the EU when they were members of the EU.
Now that the UK has left the EU the same rules apply to them as 3rd countries and they are not happy.
The reason it effects N. Ireland is the Brexit Protocol negotiated by the unelected Mr. Frost and signed their Oven Readdy Deal as an international agreement between UK/EU puts the markets border down the Irish sea.
The UK government wish to break their side of the agreement, blame everyone else and whinge that they did not know what they agreed to.
Now they are going all around the world looking for trade deals, with further travel times and poorer regions than their nearest neighbours the EU. Other countries see the way the Current UK government is not honouring its international agreements.
From an Irish perspective this is so sad, nearest neighbour, one of the closest allies when within the EU. 😥

Why is there a law against UK sausages. Well it a law against third country sausages that the uk helped formulate. Obviously the reason for the law was protection for home countries in the EU including the UK. Now the UK chose to become a third country and we the rest of the world are having a laugh watching these clips lol.

There’s only one sausage here and I think we all know who that is.

You have had the highest food hygiene because you were part of the EU. Now production can lower its standards as you are no longer regulated by the EU.

What was the UK position on this ban of 3rd country sausages when it was enacted in EU law while UK was a member?

If only we had representation in the EU decision making bodies for decades, then we could have removed this little wrinkle.

Hang on…
