The fourth chapter of Garten of Banban is finally out and it is the biggest and most ambitious chapter yet! This time we meet a whole cast of new characters including sheriff Toadster, Queen Bouncelia and the nasty jester! We are tasked to fix the elevator and in doing so we will have to solve various puzzles and work together with those colorful characters.
This was by far the best chapter yet. There were no real repetitive moments and it was nice to see new enviroments and monsters. There was also a very cool cameo by a different horror character that made me giggle. It unfortunately was a bit buggy though and I had to reload several times to fix this issue. This is definitely an improvement so I hope that the next chapter in the Banban saga will be even better!

Ngl I really like the jester/bittergiggles. The voice acting is pretty fitting aswell. I’m just kinda disappointed he didn’t get more screentime here, I hope the next one shows more of him. Interesting character imo.

After banbans fight with nabnab and you go through those few parts alone. Its very eerie, the game gets you used to be being with someone til they take it from you. Even if its just for 2 minutes

I liked that some of the weird things from Chapter 3 like the dream sequences or sheriff’s mini game were expanded / given more context here. I think playing chapter 3 and 4 back to back will make the former feel less “weird” with the added context here.

It's obvious that the developers are trying to get better at puzzles and interactivity with the drone!
The bits like the dream sequences and so makes this feel like an hour long shitpost of a game and can't get mad at that, honestly it was pretty funny.
(I also adore the Sheriff, he's a lot of fun)
I also wouldn't say everyone should be taking this game as seriously as they do, but I also understand the frustration of the mascot horror/indie developer scene.

The one of the reasons why people don’t like this game is because there’s very little effort, if any, behind anything that isn’t moving around or is just big.
