Sonic 1 Retold: Labyrinth Zone (Sprite Animation)

Sonic has now fallen into an ancient labyrinth beneath the jungle and Dr Robotnik has taken all of his emeralds in the process! Sonic must now find a way out to chase him down and take his emeralds back!

This is kinda realistic, sonic being attacked without reaction he didn't have time to take a breath to go underwater, that's why the drowning music begins quickly

Really good! Not only the 3D effect was unique but also the drowing scene for Sonic too. Giving the creepy feel for this zone. 😳

Finally! I think you found the way how a 3D sonic should be created, just a mix of 3D with 2d sprites, I’m totally sure a game like that would be a total success. In the 90s they forced sonic to 3D platform to compite with the 3d games of this years because it was something new, but they lose the magic art of sonic sprites, nobody remember sonic by his boring 3D games.
Your animation embody all concepts of the 2d games, great work, I hope to see the same for sonic 3

We a lil late but we out here. Loved how you used the Unused Walkin sprites, 3D sections, and what I assume is a Sonic 4 reference. Now we move onto the best zone in the game!
